Tríó Guðmundar Ingólfssonar was a jazz ensemble formed in 1987. Notable artists in their own right, renowned for their bebop style and significant contributions to Iceland’s jazz scene, their best known work is the 1990 album Gling-Gló, on which they collaborated with Björk. The trio disbanded in 1991 following the death of pianist Guðmundur Ingólfsson. “Litli Tónlistarmaðurinn” (The Little Musician) is representative of Gling-Gló’s folk roots and jazz influences.
